BLUSH

Blush(騷紅)is a quartet that conjures the fleeting beauty and inner restlessness of traditional Chinese water-sleeve dance. Through flowing sleeves and circular pathways, the dancers create visual echoes of waves, wind, and emotional currents. A lone entrance and a backward glance open a story—perhaps ahead, perhaps behind; in between, one and two share a brief seam without resolving; two duets unfold—meetings and near-misses—before four bodies finally converge. As the sleeves wheel through the air and come to rest, gaze stitches the space into one fabric, and the opening gathers toward a circle—nearness becomes possible. It settles on a held threshold—a quiet rounding, a seam deliberately left ajar.
